App Keeper (“the app”) is developed and published by Reimel Ltd. We respect your privacy completely.
What the app does
App Keeper lets you back up the apps installed on your own device by copying their installation files (APK / APKS) to a folder you choose on your device’s storage, so you can reinstall them later.
Data we collect or transmit: none
The app makes no network connections. It contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Nothing the app reads or creates ever leaves your device.
Device & app information
To do its job, App Keeper reads the list of apps installed on your device and their package files. This information is used only on your device — to display your apps and to create the local backups you request. It is never collected by us, never uploaded, and never shared with anyone.
Permissions
- Query all packages — to show the apps installed on your device so you can choose which to back up.
- Install / delete packages — to let you reinstall a backed-up app, or remove one, using the standard Android system prompt. You confirm every install and delete yourself.
- Foreground service & notifications — to run and show progress while a backup is in process, and (if you enable auto-backup) to detect newly installed apps and back them up. You can stop this at any time from the app’s settings.
Storage
Backups are saved to the folder you select on your own device. The app does not access any other files.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
