Birthday+ Privacy Policy

Effective date: 6 July 2026
App: Birthday+ (birthday & occasion reminder)
Publisher: Reimel Ltd (company no. 14523345, England and Wales) · company details

Birthday+ (“the app”) is developed and published by Reimel Ltd. We respect your privacy completely.

What the app does

Birthday+ stores the birthdays and special occasions you care about and reminds you in time. Everything you add is stored only on your device.

Data we collect or transmit: none

We do not collect, receive, store or share any personal data. There is no account and no cloud, and the app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Nothing you add, and nothing the app reads from your device, is ever sent anywhere.

Internet access, and why the app has it

Birthday+ includes an optional one-time purchase, Birthday+ Pro. To offer that, the app includes Google Play Billing, and that library is the reason the app declares android.permission.INTERNET, android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and com.android.vending.BILLING.

Birthday+ itself never uses the network. It contains no code that sends or fetches anything. The only outbound traffic it can generate is Google Play checking whether you own the upgrade, and completing that purchase if you choose to make it. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play, which does not share your name, email address or payment details with us. Google’s own privacy policy covers that transaction: policies.google.com/privacy.

Contacts

If you choose to import birthdays from your contacts, the app reads your device’s contacts only at that moment and only to show you a list of people and dates you can pick from. This happens entirely on your device. Contact data is never uploaded, never shared, and never sent anywhere. If you don’t use contact import, the app never reads your contacts. You can also add birthdays manually or import them from a file instead.

Permissions

Importing & backup

You can import birthdays from a file (for example a CSV, vCard, calendar or another app’s backup) and export your own JSON backup, using Android’s standard file picker. These files are read from, and saved to, only the locations you choose; the app does not upload or transmit them anywhere.

Children

The app is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

Any updates to this policy will be posted on this page.
