Mirath Privacy Policy
Mirath (“the app”) is developed and published by Reimel Ltd. We respect your privacy completely.
What the app does
Mirath calculates Islamic inheritance shares (faraid, Hanafi madhhab). You enter the estate value and the surviving heirs; the app works out each heir’s exact share and shows the reasoning. All calculation happens on your device, and anything you save stays there.
Data we collect: none
The app does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, and no cloud, and the app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The estate figures, heirs and any saved cases never leave your device except when you deliberately export them (see below).
Network use
The app’s only network connection is Google Play billing, used solely to offer the optional one-time “Mirath Pro” upgrade through Google’s own billing system. None of the figures you enter, and nothing identifying you, is ever transmitted. The calculation itself works fully offline.
Permissions
- Internet, used only by Google Play billing for the optional Mirath Pro purchase. No case data is transmitted.
Backup & export
You can export your saved cases to a JSON file, or import one, using Android’s standard file picker. These files go only where you choose to save them; the app does not upload or transmit them anywhere.
Note
Mirath is an educational and record-keeping tool. It does not provide legal advice and does not claim religious authority; confirm any distribution with a qualified scholar and, where a legally effective outcome is needed, a solicitor. This note does not affect your privacy, which is described above.
Children
The app is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
Any updates to this policy will be posted on this page.
