Muslim Budget Privacy Policy

Effective date: 18 July 2026
App: Muslim Budget (offline budgeting, wealth tracker & zakat)
Publisher: Reimel Ltd, 159a High Street, Hornchurch, England, RM11 3YD

Muslim Budget (“the app”) is developed and published by Reimel Ltd. We respect your privacy completely.

What the app does

Muslim Budget is an offline budgeting and wealth-tracking app that continuously works out your zakat. You enter your accounts, transactions, balances, loans and assets yourself, across multiple currencies; the app tracks your net worth and your zakatable wealth against the nisab and your lunar (hawl) year, and tells you when zakat is due. Everything you enter is stored only on your device.

Data we collect: none

The app does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal or financial data. There is no account, no sign-in, and no cloud, and the app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Your accounts, transactions, balances and settings never leave your device except when you deliberately export or back them up (see below).

Network use

The app works fully offline. It makes only two optional network connections, and neither sends any personal or financial information:

Payments

The optional unlock is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Google Play. Reimel Ltd never receives or stores your payment-card details. The app stores only, on your device, whether the unlock is active.

Permissions

Backup & export

You can export your data to a JSON file, import one, or set an automatic backup to a folder you choose, using Android’s standard file picker. These files go only where you choose to save them; the app does not upload or transmit them anywhere.

Children

The app is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

Any updates to this policy will be posted on this page.
