PropDeck — Privacy Policy
This policy describes what data PropDeck handles, what it doesn’t, and your rights. PropDeck is a set of informational calculators for prop-firm trading accounts; it does not provide financial or trading advice and does not connect to any broker.
Summary
- No servers. We operate no backend. Your data lives on your device.
- No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting. We do not track usage.
- No advertising. No ad SDK is embedded.
- Payments are processed by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
1. What we don’t collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers
- IP addresses or device identifiers
- Trade history, account balances, broker credentials, or any other figures you enter
- Usage analytics or feature-interaction data
- Crash reports or stack traces
2. What stays on your device
Your account configuration, trade log, profit/loss history and starting balances are stored locally in Android’s standard sandboxed storage. This data never leaves your phone, is included in Android’s normal app-data backup only if you have Google Backup enabled on your device (Google’s policy governs that backup), and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
3. Payment processing (Google Play Billing)
Subscription purchases are handled exclusively by Google Play Billing. PropDeck does not see, store, or transmit your payment-card details, billing address, or Google account information. That transaction is processed by Google and governed by Google’s privacy policy. We receive only an anonymised purchase token from Google Play, which the app uses to confirm an active subscription exists on your Play account; it is not linked to any personal identifier on our side (we operate no servers) and is stored locally in your device’s app sandbox.
4. Subscription data
The app caches your subscription state (active / not active / expired) locally to grant offline access during temporary network loss. The cache contains only a status code and an estimated expiry timestamp (Google Play is the authoritative source). No other subscription detail is stored or transmitted.
5. Permissions
PropDeck uses com.android.vending.BILLING, which is required by Google Play Billing for
subscription processing (added by the Play Billing library; no user-facing prompt). The app requests no
other permissions — no internet, storage, location, contacts, or camera. If a future version adds a
permission, this policy will be updated.
6. Children
PropDeck is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone — see Section 1 — including children.
7. Your rights
Because we hold no data about you on any server, requests for data access, correction, deletion or portability are satisfied by your control of your device: uninstall the app and all locally-stored data is deleted by Android.
8. Subscription disputes and refunds
Refunds are processed by Google Play under Google’s standard subscription refund policy; we cannot process refunds directly. To request one, follow Google’s instructions at support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637. To cancel, use Google Play Store → Subscriptions. For billing disputes, contact us at the email below.
9. Changes to this policy
If we materially change how the app handles data (e.g. add server-side features), we will update this policy and notify existing subscribers via an in-app notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
